Men don't need to be totally complacent. Breast cancer can get them too. Only it is a lot worse if it affects them as cancer of the male breast can get straight through the chest cavity and into their lungs. Forget breast cancer affecting males, I am not certain if the half of them even realize that they too have breasts except they are not as well endowed and developed as they are in women. Of course, cancer of the male breast is exceedingly rare but an off chance still remains.
If it's any consolation to women they can to a degree, lessen their chances of getting breast cancer by breast feeding their children for at least 9 months to a year, quit smoking and take up brisk walking or moderate exercise.
