I want to buy a new iPod but the choice is difficult.
The 8GB nano is being sold for $199. It is small, and has enough space for my music since I don’t like carrying all my music with me.
The 80GB iPod is being sold for $249. It has more space but is a lot more bulkier.
The 8 GB iPod touch is being sold for $299. The 16 GB iPod touch is being sold for $399.
Here is how things get tricky for me:
8 GB is more than sufficient for me to carry around so that would take me to the nano ($199) or the touch ($299). $100 is not such a big deal. So, how practical is the touch for me? My iPod mini is scratched all over, mainly on the screen. Would the touch last with me? I don’t think so… but it looks soooo nice. Let’s just say, I do get the nano, $199 for 8 GB whereas I would feel slightly cheated since I can get the 80 GB classic for $249! It’s just $50 difference… but it’s so bulky.
Should I choose on looks? practicality? space?
The touch makes me sigh. The nano is so nice and small to carry around. Yet, the only place I do use my iPod is in the car and when I travel. Does looks and size matter? It’s a difficult choice for me.
I shall think about it throughout the weekend.
I’m a Mac dealer.
Just go with the 16GB touch. Btw the touch is much then an ipod, it’s also Wifi, so you can make it into a browser, mail application and even phone (with additional applications) if you go through skype and stuff. Definitely recommend it.
The ipod touch looks pretty cool bes i think its sensitive. You seriously have to take care of it.
a7ssan shay il 80 GB nano.
il mishkila if you have an ipod you just keep adding music without realizing and soon enough you get the message IPOD IS FULL (WAAAAAA)
and then i get confused to songs should i delete bummer
il mohim more storage is always better
You are also a photographer. The one with the 80GB means you can load on some of your best photos to show your friends when you have coffee, etc. Think outside the music box - go bigger. You won’t regret it.
i vote for iPod Touch!!!!!
Dilemmas, I just got both.
You can’t scratch the screen of the ipod touch.
I am thinking of getting the 8GB touch, the SE W960 I wanted to get is apparently priced at 750euros! (found this price on some forum and the Lebanese dealer won’t give me a price!) so instead of getting it I would buy the Touch and keep my phone for calling.
Bass I am still not sure! I’ll just wait and decide when both of them are available here!
I might get Touch and make my friends get me the nano for a bday gift
Who knows we’ll see how things work out but I want the touch now! Facebook!
I am trying to decide if I should get the green iPod Nano or the iPod Classic!
macaddiction: I think I replied to your comment in my next post. thanks for the advice!
Blue dress: there is no 80 GB nano. I have a lot of music but i don’t need to carry it all around with me. I pick and choose the style, genre, and era lol
Intlxpatr: who said I am a photographer? I am not a photographer but again, reply to your comment is in the next post on the topic of why i would not browse pics on an ipod
Wer3y: this isn’t a voting session. Am receiving different opinions with different perspectives to consider my own.
K: I know. I was told to wait and check out the ones you got before I order
Mark: I didn’t read that anywhere
Eliedh: I will check if the SE is released here and how much is it priced for.
Jacqui: LOL!! facebook??
Stallion: Personally, I am definitely staying away from colors. My ancient Ipod mini is green and am sick of it by now
There is an 80 GB its in the making ,i read it on a blog ;p
What can I say, Facebook, Youtube, Blogs are all addictions!
But it kinda goes well with my boat!
I thought at one time you were using original photographs at the top of your blog; sorry.
I was using original photos mostly taken by myself but I don’t consider myself a photographer. No need apologize
I believe Mark is correct. The touch has a scratch resistant screen. Look it up balla
