Here are some thoughts that may be new for you,Rampurple.
Although we search ourselves aqnd others embrace the blessings of happiness,we never make unhappiness an enemy during our pursuit. We can be happy one moment and absolutely miserable the next. Isn't that amazing? What personal power. We each do our best based on our current beliefs.we do not have to condemn what we do in order to dtrive for more. Not judging our discomforts will change them forever and free us to more easily create a happier lifestyle.
By Barry Kaufman.
What do you do that makes you happy?
Here are some of mine.
Watering the garden and dead heading the flowers.
Making order in the cupboards and drawers.(rare!)
Creating mosaics in my studio at the back of the terrace.
Walking late at night alone in my town( I keep to the main streets)
Finding responses to my comments on your blog.

So truueeeee Sonia. I agree with Lincoln! I decided I want to be happy. I was sick of being bitter and I was sick of nagging. I did the above but I still guess I should read Happiness is a Choice. I wonder if there are more ways to perfect this. I feel sooooo light now that I am happy!!

Regarding George Sand,I prefer to believe,as did Abraham Lincoln, that we are about as happy as we make up our minds to be.
Here is how to be happy.
Get in touch with being grateful for something.Drop a judgement today! Drop two judgements!Eperiment with dropping them all.Decide to be happy and loving by just saying no to unhappiness.
I think you already did all of this.
The above is not my original thinking. It appears in a book by Barry Kaufman, titled Happiness is a Choice.
