Do you know what it feels like not to feel?
I want something to take my breath away! A good movie, a good song, a good painting, a good freaking ad! Something!
I don’t remember when was the last time I checked out something, (even food for crying out loud!) and say wow! this is good!!
i beg to differ. i know when the last time sm1 took your breath away was. it was when you met me. =P
apatheism doesnt suit you btw ._. feel better.
lol Dina! You’re not a someTHING! You’re a someONE!!!
Could it be that when you decided to block out the ‘bad’ feelings(e.g.grief over what’s happening in Lebanon), you blocked out the ‘good’feelings too?
I agree with sonia. No matter how hard we try, we can’t just look away and pretend Liban is fine when it’s not. And under such circumstances, even the best thing in life seems tasteless….
Things to Think
Think in ways you’ve never thought before.
If the phone rings, think of it as carrying a message
Larger than anything you’ve ever heard,
Vaster than a hundred lines of Yeats.
Think that someone may bring a bear to your door,
Maybe wounded and deranged; or think that a moose
Has risen out of the lake, and he’s carrying on his antlers
A child of your own whom you’ve never seen.
When someone knocks on the door, think that he’s about
To give you something large: tell you you’re forgiven,
Or that it’s not necessary to work all the time, or that it’s
Been decided that if you lie down no one will die.

Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory Soundtrack Lyrics
Come with me, And you’ll be
In a world of Pure imagination
Take a look And you’ll see
Into your imagination
We’ll begin, With a spin
Traveling in The world of my creation
What we’ll see, Will defy Explanation
If you want to view paradise
Simply look around and view it
Anything you want to, do it
Wanta change the world?
There’s nothing To it
There is no Life I know
To compare with Pure imagination
Living there You’ll be free
If you truly wish to be
If you want to view paradise
Simply look around and view it
Anything you want to, do it
Wanta change the world?
There’s nothing
To it
There is no Life I know
To compare with Pure imagination
Living there You’ll be free
If you truly Wish to be
Sonia and failasoof… I will see a shrink and let you guys know… or who knows, as days pass by while I uncover Rita we might understand through this blog, what the issue really is.

Why pay professionals when you can get a sessions for free?
My youngest grandson, Ilai, will be singing in a choir at a prestigious centre for the arts this week. If that doesn’t blow my breath away, nothing will.
Hope your mood has improved. In general, feelings come and go.
We took our grandchildren and children,by now middle aged,to see the british musical “Mamma Mia” . Based on the songs of the Abba group, the show is very colourful, humorous, slick and a sure crowd pleaser. We all enjoyed it,save for one seventeen year old who is too serious for such frivolous fare.
It failed to take my breath away, but I did forget my troubles,at least temporarily.
Hey Sonia!
You never said how did it feel to watch your grandson sing?
I am glad you enjoyed the show, it sounds like a good “theme” for a show!
I have been feeling better which is good!!
Rampurple, sitting in the audience watching my twelve year old grandson sing in a children’s choir,I marvelled that I,who cannot keep a tune for all the tea in China, has a grandson with perfect pitch.
Ilai is a sensitive, aesthetic, considerate child who is unfailingly a pleasure to be with. I was so proud of him!
The entire evening, given by the Conservatory of Music for parents and grandparents, was a delight, presnting a wide range of young musicians playing on musical instruments from harps and trombones down to hand clapping on feet and plastic bins!
I felt a sense of wonderment, and fervently wish that NO ONE EVER will think of eliminating these darling souls
May they never use violence and never have to suffer from it.
