Blend - Belong
I seriously don’t know why I never heard of this band before! It’s a great song and great video vlip… totally Lebanese!!!Just googled them and according to virgin music:
Blend first got together in 1997 when vocalist Jad Souaid and guitarist Miran Gurunian met as students at the American University of Beirut. In 1999, Jad Aouad joined on drums and Haytham Chalhoub on bass
Local critics labeled them “a post rock experimental band that combines rock and electro with a very distinct oriental influence”
i love them, try the song communicate.. btw, I got their cd from virgin beirut like last year
I will check to see if Virgin has their CD here in Kuwait! I never noticed it!! :S
Blend is the first Lebanese band who got signed with EMI! Which was a great breakthrough for lebanese bands all in all! They have a very nice style and they’ve played in Lebanon several times! so am glad you finally got to know them.
