For my birthday, I received a new mobile. The Sony Ericsson w880i. I had never seen the phone before so you could imagine how shocked I was when I saw how slim it is!!
I have been messing around with the phone today. It has a couple of negative points I have noticed so far. First of all, I can’t sync it with my mac. I am waiting for my “technical advisor” to return from his business trip to support me on that. I am sure I can rely on him for that. Must be some sort of plugin which I can’t figure out. Second negative thing I see, are the buttons are too small that they hurt if you sms a lot. If you’re don’t sms a zillion smses a day then it should not be a problem.
Besides those two issues, which I don’t find so major, I love the phone! Some might say that the camera is 2.0 whatever… if I wanted better pics, I can just use my cam. I think this cam is sufficient for a phone, it just does the job.
Since it’s a walkman, I am taking full advantage of it. It fits 90 tracks. I have placed 25 of my favorite songs on it so far. I definitely won’t replace my iPod with this phone but it’s useful to have songs on your phone sometimes. Its entertainment while you’re waiting for someone or while jogging and you don’t want to carry your mobile and your iPod.
In conclusion, I am happy with my new phone. 
One major selling point is that the battery lasts such a long time with you. It can sometimes last up to 6 days if you don’t use it heavily!
I read about that but can’t say i tried it yet since I have been messing around with it all day.

Congrats… I got it too, I SMS more than a zillion sms a day and it hurts my finger tips alot, but I love it,,,, and I got more than 210 songs on it,,, it’s jus amazing… you should try out the trackID thingie!!!
210 songs? really?? the manual said 90 songs. oh wow!
I haven’t tried it out the trackID thingie yet. I got the message Music Recognition service unavailable!
You need GPRS for trackID but I tried it and its fucking unreal. It recognized every song I made it here!
